● Oxygen Concentrator Molecular Sievesare typically composed of Synthetic Zeolite 13X, a highly porous aluminosilicate with a uniform pore structure precisely engineered to adsorb nitrogen (N₂) from air under pressure, allowing oxygen (O₂) to pass through. Their primary application is in Medical Oxygen Concentrators and Industrial Oxygen Generation systems (PSA/VSA). ● A key variant, Synthetic Zeolite 3A, is sometimes used upstream for pre-drying, protecting the main 13X sieve from moisture degradation. Critical precautions include strictly avoiding exposure to oils, aerosols, or chemicals that can cause permanent pore blockage (fouling).
