● Oxygen Concentrator Molecular Sievesare typically composed of Synthetic Zeolite 13X, a highly porous aluminosilicate with a uniform pore structure precisely engineered to adsorb nitrogen (N₂) from air under pressure, allowing oxygen (O₂) to pass through. Their primary application is in Medical Oxygen Concentrators and Industrial Oxygen Generation systems (PSA/VSA).

● A key variant, Synthetic Zeolite 3A, is sometimes used upstream for pre-drying, protecting the main 13X sieve from moisture degradation. Critical precautions include strictly avoiding exposure to oils, aerosols, or chemicals that can cause permanent pore blockage (fouling). The sieve must also be protected from liquid water ingress, as it can destroy the crystalline structure. Proper handling ensures long service life and consistent, high-purity oxygen output.
